The Property

About our property & how to find us

Naturaleza Y Gracia is comprised of 3 beachfront acres on the Osa Peninsula of Costa Rica. National Geographic magazine describes Costa Rica’s Osa Peninsula as “The most biologically intense place on earth.” Our property is on the eastern side on the Golfo Dulce of the Pacific Ocean.

As one of the last places in Costa Rica to be settled, most of the peninsula is covered with lush tropical rainforests. A large part of the Osa Peninsula is taken up by the Corcovado National Park and the peninsula is home to 2.5 per cent of the world’s biodiversity, including 4 species of monkeys, pumas, tapirs, ocelots, and anteaters as well as more than 350 bird species and marine animals including humpback whales, Bryde’s whales, bottlenose dolphins, spotted dolphins, manta rays and sailfish. Beaches on the peninsula also serve as nesting sites for green, Olive Ridley, hawksbill, and vulnerable leatherback sea turtles.

We can easily be reached from San Jose on a short flight on Sansa Airlines to Puerto Jimenez or a sight-seeing 6-hour drive. From Puerto Jimenez, it is a 30-minute drive south to our property in the Matapalo area.  Once you reserve your place we will send you detailed instructions on travel options including hotel information in San Jose, taxi service, car rentals, etc. to make your arrival easier.
