Everyday Adventures Matapalo Tree Climbing Tour

Scale the largest original jungle gym. You are top roped while climbing an enormous, user-friendly Strangler Fig, roughly 70 feet to a viewing roost 350 feet over the Golfo Dulce. Level of difficulty determined by the "root" you select. After exploring the lofty perch and view of the ocean, an exhilarating swing brings you safely back to the Earth.

 

The cost of this tour is $75 per person and it is located just past Matapalo Beach (about a 20 min drive from Naturaleza y Gracia). Bring river hikers/sneakers, your camera, bottled water and binoculars.

Everyday Adventures Waterfall Rappel Tour

 

Hike up and around a series of waterfalls nestled in lush rainforest. At the top of the falls you will receive thorough instruction covering your equipment, its proper use and safe rappelling. When you complete the course you will know how to safely rappel yourself! The first waterfall is 45 feet and the second is 100 feet. If that does not get your heart beating then nothing will... you are sure to get an applause from the howler monkeys and toucans. 

The cost of this tour is $100 per person and the start of the hike to the waterfall is just past Matapalo Beach. You should bring river hikers/sneakers and bottled water.

You can combine the Tree Climbing and Waterfall Rappel tour for $140 pp. The combined tours run 5-6 hours in total.
